Batch process multiple folder

Postby kenetork » Mon Oct 12, 2015 7:15 am

Hello guys, I simply LOVE this BRU tool. I need to find a way to secuencially rename files with the folders name as a prefix and a "_" + "ascendent numbering" as a suffix. I already read a lot of thread about it and I followed many of them, everyone of them helped me, but I can't do it exactly what I need I don't know why.

Thing is that I have this folder structure:
A
- 1.jpg
- 2.jpg
B
- 1.jpg
- 2.jpg
C
- 1.jpg
- 2.jpg
- 3.jpg

and I need this:
A
- A_1.jpg
- A_2.jpg
B
- B_1.jpg
- B_2.jpg
C
- C_1.jpg
- C_2.jpg
- C_3.jpg

FYI - I already did this:
1. On the left panel (the folder tree) selected the main folder containing A, B and C folders".
2. In Selections (12) checked only "Files" and "Subfolders".
3. Set Numbering (10) as "Mode = Suffix", "Start= 1" "Sep. = _", "Incr.= 1" and checked the "Folder" option.
4. In File (2) selected "Remove".
5. In Append Folder Name (9) selected "Prefix".
6. I selected all my image files
7. When previewing the results on the right panel I got this:

A
- A_1.jpg
- A_1.jpg
B
- B_1.jpg
- B_1.jpg
C
- C_1.jpg
- C_1.jpg
- C_1.jpg

This is weird because this doesn't happend when I apply the same settings but just selecting just 1 folder.
When doing that it works great, for example selecting just the folder A, the result is like the expected:
A
- A_1.jpg
- A_2.jpg

Is this a bug? I really need to do it well.
Maybe I am doing something wrong. :?
You tell me guys please... I will aprecciate your help a LOT!

Thanks in advance!

Unselect your files, click the SubDir column so they get sorted properly, the reselect your files.
