Is there a way to insert the date created as an alpha char? What I need is the second char in a rename to be a single letter indicating the year a file was made. All files up to 1990 will be letter a. 91 is b, 92 is c, etc.

Hi,

No sorry, there's no functionality for this. You can probably achieve it in two passes though:

1) Add the year as a prefix

then

2) Perform a replacement


It'll take two apsses but it should work.
