Help re-organizing music library...

Hi, I've got what should be a simple request but I can't figure it out. I have a music library filed in folders by artist and album title and I want to combine duplicate artists and duplicate album titles. An example would be to move the contents of 'Cannonball' Adderley; Adderley, Cannonball; and Cannonball Adderly" all to the same folder "Cannonball Adderley." But I don't want this operation to mess up file names, such as when a completely different artist uses "Cannonball Adderley" in their song title. Is this possible? I keep getting errors that I cannot create a file where one already exists. I don't mind if I have to manually select the folders to combine. And I don't mind (much) if duplicate files are created; once they're in the same folder my duplicate finder will catch them. Thanks,
