Help to create a batch

Postby focalfox » Sun Jul 15, 2018 11:40 am

Hello Guys,

i need a little bit help. I am using BRU to rename my Photofiles to give different sizes to the models. But i have to opend and start 4 times to rename all. So i think its better to create a batch but have no idea how to start. Maybe someone have some time to help me out :)

Forlder ist everytime this L:\desktop\Export

and this is what i need

if file contains *vorher* than delete "_vorhernachher" and add [before-after] to the start
if file contains *web* than delete *_web* and add [Facebook] to the start
if file contains *instagram* than delete *-instagram* and add [Instagram] to the start
if file contains *print* than delete *_print* and add [Print] to the start

Example: Felidae_Chrissy_Rapunzel_425_print.jpg ---> [Print] felidae_chrissy_rapunzel_430.jpg

I used this everyday multiply times abd i could save a lot of time <3

Greetings from germany :D

Using BRU or BRC the command line utility?

If you have or can create the BRC command line code for each operation, you can perform all operations as a batch by creating a text file with the four lines of code and saving it with a .bat extension...
