BRU For Use in Virtual Environment

Postby moxenrider » Fri Nov 01, 2024 1:01 pm

This should be a short thread. I was wondering if the software is allowed to be used in a virtual environment. I couldn't not find specific information that says one way or the other. Thanks!

What do you mean by "virtual environment"?
Have some specific virtual environment in mind?

This would be setup in VMWare Horizon client on persistent machines.

(Heh. Client & persistent machines.
That's beyond me.
But I can run BRU in Sandboxie, a local sandbox, & with that I can rename files just fine.

But I take it your use case is a bit more involved then that.)

This was supposed to be more of a legal question. We don't want to not be compliant with the software we use. Sounds like there should be no issues then. Thanks for your time.

Hi, Bulk Rename Utility is 100% compatible with all virtual environments. If using the software commercially, please see EULA here:
