Add version to the installer (for winget)

Using BRU 3.4.3.0 on win10 x64 21H1 (and latest winget/Windows Package Manager CLI v1.0.11692 ).

Currently, in Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs (ARP) list; the BRU application currently doesn't report a version number in Control Panel:


and so, if you run 'winget upgrade' (checks for available upgrades) it returns "Unknown" instead of 3.4.3.0, therefore lists it as an available upgrade :


So, I'd like to kindly ask to add version to the installer.

Just wanted to add my voice to this exact same issue. Would be so handy as Winget will redownload the program and install it again if i do a mass upgrade. Ofc now i cant so this is kinda stopping me as it doesnt have the version id.

Until this is fixed, adding the following to the registry will keep winget quiet.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Bulk Rename Utility Installation_is1]
"DisplayVersion"="3.4.3.0"

(I'm assuming the "Bulk Rename Utility Installation_is1" bit is the same for everyone else).
