Select Columns settings do not stay

Postby SteveGroman » Mon Sep 02, 2024 9:37 pm

Thanks for your efforts in creating this program! I've just started using it. I don't need most of the features, but for the few I need, it should make organizing my photos MUCH easier.

The "Select Columns" settings revert automatically to the defaults as soon as I change directories, or often as soon as I select a file in the same directory! This happens whether I use the Display Options/List/Select Columns menu or the drop-down list of columns. Just to confuse things, it occasionally retains the column settings when selecting other files, but most of the time is reverts. (I'm trying to remove the Access Date, Item Date, and Status columns.)

Hi, thank you for posting on the forum. I can't recreate this issue on my computer... :?

Win7.

12:Filters, do NOT check Subfolders

Add column 'Sub Dir'

click on a different directory in the directory tree (the directory above or below the current directory is fine)

return to the original directory

At that point, 'Sub Dir.' no longer displays as column.

(In 12:Filters, if Subfolders is checked, the issue may not be present.)

Hi, yes, that column is only needed if subfolders are selected, otherwise its content is always empty.
