Batch rename files and folders

Hi. I have many video files what has very long file names. I want to reduce them all so the first 100 letters or character are fixed and the last 5 also fixed. Any filenames with less than 100 letters will just be ignored. How do i do this please

Then Filters (12) -> Name Min . To select name length.

Then Remove (5) from 101 to -5 (-5 means 5 from end)

XXX-XXX - Xxxxx xxxx x Xxx xxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxx xxxxxx.ass Change to XXX-XXX.ass

I need to to this in one go and the movie text is ofcause not just XXX but real names. Can this be done ? Thanks

Assuming the CAP X's are the "Movie ID"
Assuming all the filenames are laid out in a "Movie ID"<space>[dash]<space>... manner

5:Remove, Crop -> Special (& in the box to the right), ' - *' (without the tic marks)

So that is <space>[dash]<space>[asterick].
