It's impossible to select multiple files to rename

Postby totallyfrustrated » Wed Oct 16, 2024 9:25 pm

 How can I select multiple files to rename? This is completely impossible. It says to use the Ctrl or Shift buttons but that doesn't do anything? I want to select all the files in a folder at once, to rename them all. But that can't be done. If I can only select one file at once, then this utility really doesn't serve any purpose. This is a fundamental flaw.

It is possible to manually select multiple files one at a time very slowly but I have hundreds of files I want to select at once, and would lose my place. I have been trying to solve this unsolvable problem for weeks now.

Hi, sorry to hear about this :( if you want to quickly select all visible files you can use Ctrl+A or in the new version 4, there is also a button next to the path bar at the top of the screen.
