Of course I already tried this option and all other options too, it's not working in the new Version.

The "include subfolder" - option is only scanning all subfolders for occurence for the filter and has nothing todo with including the content.

But V2.7 its also copying all subfolders even if the containing names aren't the same like the filter I gave:

filter: *batman* --> copies "/ebooks/batman/book1.pdf" because it is doing a REAL rename like the Unix-Command is used to move a folder.

However, there is something changed after V3.x and its not doing what I need it for. Glad I still have the old Version even if its not available on the webpage.

Admin wrote:Thank you, I think in BRU 4 if you only select the folders then only the folders are moved and not the files inside. They can't be deleted from source as they are not empty.
Please try this instead: in Filters (12), enable the flags: files, folders, subfolders. Then select all folders and their files to move. In this way, all folders and files should be moved.

i have same issue. i want to rename a folder and move renamed folder and its contents to parent folder. bru successfully creates renamed folders at parent level and folders are empty. if select folder and files within folder, bru moves files to parent folder -same level as folder originally holding files. original folder still remains. i just want to rename folder and move folder with its contents to parent folder. it seems like this would be simple and it appears that bru doesn't work for this. i purchased license immediately after downloading bru because it seemed like such great tool. it still is a great tool and how come it seems unable to perform this action?
