Been there, done that.
Same problem, and same solution.

Not working for me. It will not rename to file extention I want. For example *.LVR > *.mp4. Old version did but could not access to network files and was the reason updated to v4. I have to find an alternative now

How about telling us what settings you have set to try to accomplish this rename from .LVR to .mp4
