hanging when opening a large folder

I've found that there appears to be issues when trying to open BRU with a large folder (i.e. 2k or more files) - it just hangs to searching press ESC to cancel.

I can get round it by selecting 3 or 4 files and choosing the "selected items" option in the context menu - then refreshing and they all come up quickly.

Perhaps related to, File list capacity ?

just replied to another post about this about a workaround. don't think it's that because refreshing within BRU shows them all without issue
