Installing Bulk Rename utility as published app in Citrix

Hi does the bulk rename utility can be publised as app in Citrix Virtual app?

Don't know what a "Citrix app" is, but can you install a program (other then an "app") in Citrix?

If you can't install, can you unzip a program & "just run it"?
If so, Download Bulk Rename Utility No-Installer Version (BRU_NoInstall.ZIP).

Hi the issue is I am able to install it and when I publish it as citrix virtual app, it wont open on remote machines. Hence my question about compatability with Citrix

Hi! BRU is a standard Windows desktop application with no special requirements, so it should work within the Citrix environment if the environment supports Windows desktop applications....

At the moment we have installed the app on the Windows sever 2016 as an app and publishing it via citrix . But it does not seem to open on any of our desktop fleet of windows 10 and 11 machines. Any tips as to what could cause the application not to launch. It opens locally on the sever where we installed it .

Hi, I am not familiar with publishing apps via citrix, sorry, but are there other apps that you install and do work?
Does the BRU icon show on the remote but does not start?
There must be a difference between installing BRU on the server itself for use, as opposed to install as a remote citrix app?
